"Batty Moon"

My favorite episodes of TV shows when I was younger were always the horror and Halloween ones! They still are today, "Hehe!" With this painting, I was trying to create the vibe, "It was a dark and stormy night," when they pan onto the moon and have bats flying about! The bats' names are "Blushy" (top) and "Beetle"(bottom)! I think this painting captures exactly what I was going for, and it definitely captured my heart!

"Alien Bear"

Ever since I was little I have been obsessed with stuffed animals! Once I grew older and started liking more horror type things, I always loved those gruesome zombie bears. So naturally I tried to paint an alien version! I originally intended for this is be very creepy, but he just came out so precious! He loves bubbles, banana splits, and glow in the dark ceiling stars.

"Galactic Clouds"

When I first started this painting I was trying to go outside of my comfort zone and use a different color palette. However, I wasn't a fan of how it was turning out so I went back to my normal color palette and I ended up really loving the final piece. Even if I ended up going back into my comfort zone, I wouldn't have been able to create this painting without first trying something new. Sometimes just trying is enough.
